Maiden Flight Day 2019

On Saturday, May 4th, the club had its annual maiden flight day. An opportunity for club members to show off their winter projects and for the club to kick off the flying season. Most of the planes maidened this day were the FT Simple Scouts the club built at the end of March.

The forecasted rain for the day never came and we were treated to comfortable temperatures and only a light breeze all day. We held several "competitions" that feature the Simple Scouts and a few others who risked some more expensive planes.
